What are worship service times?
- Rolling Hills offers a series of
worship services at 8:00, 8:45, and 10:45 a.m. every Sunday, as
well as a Christian Education hour for all ages at 9:45am.
- The 8:00 a.m. service is a 30 minute
meditation service during which Communion is served. The
service is held in the Murphy Chapel and is perfect for those
with busy schedules or those who are seeking a quiet,
reflective worship environment.
- Our 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. services are traditional worship services held in the sanctuary, with our Chancel Choir singing.
- Church School for children K--12th
grade and adults of all ages is held every Sunday at 9:45 a.m.
The Sunday School class offerings for adults change every 4-6
weeks.
- Communion is served during the 8:00
am service every Sunday and on the first Sunday of each month
during the 8:45 and 10:45am services. Home Communion is also distributed to those who request it.
- Children K-5 start out in worship at the 8:45 and 10:45
a.m. services each Sunday, then are escorted to Children's
Chapel after "A Time for Children."
What Adult Education classes are
offered on Sundays?

Rolling Hills offers
a wide variety of classes for adults at various stages of life.

-Sojourners led by
Rev. Eric Garbison, Jan. 8- Jan. 22
This class will focus on social
justice issues and highlight Rev. Garbison's work with Cherith
Brooks, a residential Christian community committed to sharing
table fellowship with those marginalized in our society. Meets
in Room B.
- The
Happiness Project, Jan. 15- Feb. 5
Led by Peter & Alice Levy, this class will explore the ways
that you can fit more happiness into your life. Based on the
book, The
Happiness Project, by Gretchen Rubin, which will be
available to purchase. Meets in Room A.
-Music
and the Arts in Christianity, Jan. 15- Feb. 5
Come and explore Christianity's impact on music and
art throughout the ages. Facilitated by Julie Flanagan of the
Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Meets in Room D.
-Scripture
Play led by Abbey Abendroth, Ongoing
This class will continue from
the fall semester and study the Scripture featured in Worship
each week. Meets in Room 101.
-Growing in Faith led by Rev. Gene Augustine, Ongoing
Join Gene Augustine for this
continuing discussion on what it means to be a Christian in
today's world and how we can deepen our faith. Meets in Room C.
