Scripture Play provides an opportunity for participants to consider the Scripture that is read at the morning service and used as a test for the Pastor's sermon. the style is participatory and each Sunday in a unit unto itself. The choir is invited to participate after they are finished with the first service in the sanctuary.

In the process of considering the Scripture for the day, attention is given to textual criticism, historical setting, contemporary biblical studies and the meaning of the text for modern times. The Bible is basic material for faith development. It deserves attention in a group setting in order to stimulate spiritual growth. The sessions are open for all to attend.
